Sarah F. Esh, 68, went to be with Jesus on January 17, 2024.
She was born on July 22, 1955 in Pennsylvania to Levi Stoltzfus and Sarah Fisher. She spent most of her childhood in Pennsylvania. She and her husband, John K. Esh, were married in Lancaster, PA in 1973 and they just celebrated 50 happy years of marriage. In life she loved being a wife to John and a mother to her 6 beautiful children. John and Sarah moved their family to Loveland Colorado in 1997 where they started a new life.
At age 26 the Lord Jesus saved her soul. Since then, she loved to connect with others especially through her church and community. She was a member of Redeemed Community Church in Greeley Colorado. Her children and grandchildren were her delight, and she also enjoyed gardening, traveling, and spending time at their Florida home by the beach with her husband, John. Together, with one of their sons, they founded Esh’s Discount Grocery in Loveland, Colorado, and also enjoyed renovating fixer uppers, building and designing homes.
Sarah is survived in life by her loving husband, John Esh; daughters, Katie Lapp, Saraetta Hershey; sons, Samuel Esh, Reuben Esh, Paul Esh, Justin Esh; sisters, Lydia Petersheim, Barbara Fisher; brother, John Stoltzfus and 29 grandchildren.
Sarah is preceded in death by her parents, Levi and Sarah Stoltzfus; brother, Steve Stoltzfus; sisters, Naomi Miller, Rebecca Esh, Mary Stoltzfus and grandson, Christian Lapp.
A visitation for Sarah will be held Thursday, January 25, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM and 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Redeemed Community Church, 809 30th Avenue Unit 10, Greeley, CO 80634. A funeral service will be Friday, January 26, 2024 at 12:30 PM at Evangelical Free Church of Eaton, 1325 3rd Street, Eaton, CO 80615. Interment will follow the funeral service at Eaton Cemetery.
